Ruhi Hiebert
Owner, Director
Ms. Ruhi is the Director and Owner of the Montessori School of Madison. She founded the Montessori School of Madison in 2008 after years of working in other Montessori schools. In addition to her certifications in Montessori learning, she has previous experience teaching both older children and adults. Ms. Ruhi has spent time and visited several Montessori Schools all over the world including schools in India, Iceland, and Finland. In her spare time, Ms. Ruhi is passionate about promoting the importance of Human Rights across the world and has spoken to a variety of groups in over 30 countries.

Elaine Gillmore
Assistant Director
Ms. Elaine has been at the Montessori School of Madison since 2018 and has been working in education since 2003. She has worked with adults and children with special needs, and has worked as a teacher's aid in classrooms ranging in age from preschool to high school. At MSoM, she primarily works with the Preschool children, but also works on handwriting and reading with the Kindergarteners. She attended College of Lake County in Illinois.

Brenda Tackett
Kindergarten Teacher
Ms. Brenda is a highly qualified certified Montessori Teacher with over 36 years of diverse experience in early childhood education and childcare. Thirty-four of those years have been spent owning, operating and managing two separate Montessori schools. In addition to her Montessori Training and Certification, she holds a Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education and a Certification in Children's Nutrition. Ms. Brenda has also received a Certificate of Outstanding Achievement from the American Montessori Institute of which she is also a member.

Ann Parsons
Early Elementary Teacher
Mrs. Ann has been teaching for over 30 years in both public city schools and private schools. She holds degrees both in Elementary and Special Needs education and has a wide variety of experience and has worked in elementary, middle, and high schools across the country. She brought her love of teaching to the Montessori School of Madison in 2012 and is glad to have found a school setting where she can marry the children's interests and her background. She primarily works with the Early Elementary children, but does science and social studies activities with the Kindergarteners as well. She loves to spend her days off visiting her two adult children and spending time with her husband. Mrs. Ann has a Bachelor's of Science in Elementary Education/Special Education from Valparaiso University in Indiana.

I love teaching children because it gives me great joy knowing I have helped a child be open to new ideas. Teaching is about the whole child and showing them ways to care about others in the world.
Dianna Howard
Preschool Teacher
Ms. Dianna joined the MSoM family in March 2017 and has over 20 years experience working in education. She primarily works with the Preschool children, but also does enrichment activities with Kindergarten through 3rd grade students. She has four children and five grandchildren. She has a Bachelor in Arts and Science from Brigham Young University Idaho.

Hobbies: I love nature. Anything involving water, like kayaking, swimming in the ocean, skipping rocks in the river, floating on inner tubes down the river.
I love laughter, and I try to look on the positive side of life as much as possible. Educating children with acceptance and love is the only way to teach!
Maria Mock
Preschool and Spanish Teacher
Ms. Maria joined the MSoM family in August 2019 and has over 30 years of experience working with children. At MSoM, she primarily works with the Preschool children, but also teaches Spanish to all ages. She has a B.S. in Early Childhood Development from University of West Alabama; University of Texas, Austin; and Jefferson Davis Jr. College. Ms. Maria has three daughters, four sons, one bonus daughter, three bonus sons, and six grandsons.
